Ever wonder why God gave the ten commandments? Ever wonder how did some followers of Christ in the Bible lived happy lives in the midst of troubles?

Today, we often view rules in a negative way. Don't do this! Don't touch that! No No! Because of that, we can often view commandments from the Bible, especially the 10 God gave to Moses, in a negative way. "Oh great, God tells more stuff not to do. Where's the freedom at?"

Join us through this 12 week series as we capture the heart of God on how to live a happy life.

They all received the filling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of boldness to share the story of Jesus with whomever they would encounter. He told His disciples that they should not leave until they received this gift. Join Pastor Owen as he shares this message about the second work of Grace that happened on the Day of Pentecost!
Nothings too Hard for God - No Loneliness is too Overwhelming

John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." NKJ
Loneliness is a plague in America. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. Scripture does address the issue of loneliness and reveals god's remedy for dealing with it.

Lost & Found (part 4) The Lost Older Brother

This message is week four of the Lost & Found series at Greenville First Assembly. Join Pastor Ken Owen as he shares this message from Luke 15:25-32. The relationship of the older brother to his father in the parable of the prodigal son, is a picture of how the pharisees(religious people) have acted towards the lost. It begs a question from us today...What is God's attitude towards the lost? What should our attitude be towards the lost around us?
